Aria loves music. When I play music or sing to my baby her respiration decreases by about half and her heart rate drops.
It's amazing to know that there is something I can do to soothe my child. Even though she continues to scream, I know she feels a little bit better...and that means the world to me.

I had a nurse tell me this at a doctor's appointment recently, that my daughter's heart rate slowed down considerably when I started singing to her -- and I sound like a frog when I sing. I can imagine how powerful your beautiful voice must be.
I like your picture of her. I am thinking about you and your girls, especially Aria, and hoping, hoping, that some good resolution is reached. I am glad that you have found something that is soothing to her. You truly picked the right name for her.

Wow, Aria's hair is really getting long! She sure looks cute in that picture. I hope your tough decisions go as smoothly as possible and you can all be home together again soon.
I've had similar experiences with Orion- he'd try to take off his CI but will leave it alone when I start talking in a singsongy voice.
It's clear its something she enjoys so much. Keep on going...
I hope everything is looking better for Aria now. I pray the both of you are OK. Hospitals are so isolating and reasons to be there are scary.
